Ardnamurchan 7yr Oloroso Golden Promise Barley - Hideout Exclusive, Single Cask

Founded by Adelphi in 2014 on Scotland’s remote west coast, Ardnamurchan has quickly become one of the most exciting young distilleries in the country. Despite its young age, it has earned a reputation for producing outstanding whisky, with its single casks becoming highly sought after by enthusiasts.

Due to the popularity of our first Ardnamurchan single cask, we couldn’t resist securing another. This Hideout Exclusive is one of just 58 bottles, distilled using 100% Golden Promise barley and fully matured in a first-fill Oloroso octave cask.

Golden Promise is a heritage barley variety renowned for producing a rich, creamy spirit, while the small octave cask has delivered an intense sherry influence in a relatively short time, creating a whisky packed with character.
Tasting Notes

Nose: Jammy berries, toasted hazelnuts, ripe peaches and warm baking spices.
Palate: Rich and oily with notes of fruit jam, oak chips, roasted hazelnuts, peach crumble and layers of sweet Oloroso sherry.
Finish: Long, warming and beautifully balanced, with lingering dried fruits, gentle spice and toasted oak.
