Braeval 11yr Pedro Ximenez - Hideout X Thompson Bros, Single Cask

The Speyside distillery of Braeval is one of Scotland’s quieter producers, rarely seen as a single malt and far better known as a key component in the famous Chivas blends. Built high in the hills above the village of Chapeltown, it’s a distillery that flies under the radar, making it all the more exciting when casks appear as independent releases.

Bottled by the epic Thompson Bros - an independent bottler with a reputation for finding and releasing casks others might overlook - this Exclusive Single Cask was picked by The Hideout and is limited to just 30 bottles.

Unpeated and fully matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. Rich and layered, dark fruits and warming spice with notes of Jamaican ginger cake, Amarone wine richness, and black tea tannins, balanced by the elegant Speyside spirit beneath.

With such a tiny outturn, this is a rare chance to try Braeval as a single malt in a bold sherry-driven style.
